Pearl Appratus Testing Water Tightness

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Pull the centre rod up (No.1).
Unscrew the two side nuts ( No.2) and lift the lid.
Fill the cylinder with distilled water up to the water level mark (No.5).
Hang the watch case on the clip (No.4).
Replace the lid and screw the two side nuts ( No.2). Tightly.
Fill the air by using the foot operated Pump (Provided with the apparatus) upto 30 pounds and wait for 2 minutes)
Immerse the watch case into the water by pressing the centre rod down (No.1). and immediately allow the air to escape by pressing the pressure release button (No.3).
While the pressure inside the cylinder is falling observe the watch case, if any Air bubbles escape the watch case than it is not water proof.
If no air bubbles come ,out from the watch case, than it is water resistant.

Precautions to be Taken

Never use ordinary water in the cylinder, Always use distilled water.
Please apply silicon grease to the centre rod and to the clip.
Please keep the lid loose when not in use.
Protect from dust.
